Riding While Black: A Conversation on the Role of Bus Transit in the Black Community

Join Greater Greater Washington on Tuesday, August 11th for an engaging discussion on the integral role that public bus systems play in moving Black communities and the role the ongoing pandemic and protests for racial justice have had on bus systems regionally and country. This event is free, but registration is required in advance.

  • Jerome Horne, Rider Experience Specialist at Indianapolis Public Transportation Corporation
  • Kyle Reeder, Co-lead of Prince George’s Countywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Community Advisory Group
  • William Washburn, former planner and chair of the NAACP DC Chapter
