NJTOD.org (the Transit Friendly Planning Newsletter) is published with funding provided by NJ TRANSIT, as part of the agency’s Transit Friendly Planning program. The NJTOD.org website and newsletter is produced by the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center (VTC), an academic research center at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
The NJTOD.org Advisory Board provides strategic guidance in support of our mission: to advance the conversation about the potential for development and redevelopment around transit facilities in the state of New Jersey. Board members include representatives from NJ TRANSIT, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (NJDCA), New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), the American Planning Association—New Jersey Chapter (APA-NJ), Downtown New Jersey, New Jersey Future (NJF), and New Jersey League of Municipalities (NJLM).
