Webinar (8/21): Sacramento RTD Micro-Mobility Integration and Partnerships

Webinar: Sacramento RTD Micro-Mobility Integration and Partnerships (Pilot Project Webinar #4)

Wednesday, August 21, 2019
2:00-2:45 PM EST

Beginning in September 2018, Sacramento Regional Transit District (SACRT) launched a partnership with JUMP Bike to strategically place electric-assist bikes and supporting charging stations at light rail (LRT) stations.  The availability of bike-share options at LRT stations has boosted train ridership by attracting people whose work, home or other destination is beyond walking distance from a transit station.  When the program is fully implemented, JUMP bikes will be available at 23 of 52 LRT stations.

SACRT is also in discussion with e-scooter providers in the region, with the objective for making this still another first-mile / last-mile solution.
