The City of Greensboro, North Carolina, is utilizing technology to address issues of transportation equity. Working with Remix, the transportation technology company, the City strives to provide better access to employment, education, and healthcare for underserved populations. “Most people that ride the bus in a city like Greensboro plan their entire life around their access to a bus system,” explains Gray Johnston, a Greensboro transit planner. “From the lens of equity, our primary goal is to help people have access to the things that they need.”
