NJRA-RTI 2020 Courses

The Redevelopment Training Institute, a program of the NJ Redevelopment Authority, offers intensive workshops in the areas of project finance, tax abatements, redevelopment planning law, tax credits, CDBG and Home Funds, and more. The RTI is designed to provide nonprofit and for-profit developers, professional consultants, licensed practitioners, entrepreneurs, and staff working in municipal, county, and state government with a body of knowledge of the redevelopment and real estate development process.

Celebrating 20 Years of the NJ Transit Village Initiative

On November 14, 2019, state and local officials gathered at the College Avenue Student Center at Rutgers University, New Brunswick to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Transit Village Initiative. Hosted by NJDOT, “Growing Transit Villages in the Garden State: Getting it Done” was a chance to take a look back on the achievements of the 33 municipalities that have joined the program and to look forward to the future of NJ Transit-oriented Development (TOD).
