NJ TRANSIT’s draft TOD Policy Statement is available for public review and comment. As the TOD Office at NJ TRANSIT advances several TOD projects, it became clear that a TOD policy is needed that promotes the agency’s 10-year strategic plan, addresses community needs, and follows industry best practices. The policy will formalize a vision, goals, and objectives with supporting policies that will guide development on NJ TRANSIT-owned or controlled land near transportation facilities. It is intended to be a useful resource for prospective development partners, municipalities, and other stakeholders.
