Beauty and function come together elegantly in a transit-friendly manner at the Calgary New Central Library, completed in 2018. Built over the existing CTrain light rail line and a half-block from the City Hall Station, the library houses a collection of more than 450,000 titles, as well as a four-story atrium, a 340-seat theater, conferences rooms, and a small cafe.
